Week 10 - Mission Week

MONDAY - Opening Assembly 8:45am in the PAC

THURSDAY - Easter Service 11:30am in the PAC, Homework is due back at school

Cross Country

Wednesday was a fantastic day where year 1 participated in novelty events as well as the Cross Country Run. By the end of the day we were all exhausted from burning off all that energy. Enjoy the show!

A special visit from Ms Entomology

Year 1 were very lucky today to have a visit from Ms Entomology.
Ms Entomology is very special because she knows lots of things about insects and as she can speak the insects secret language!
Ms Entomology visited each Year 1 class during their library lesson and even brought some of her insect friends along!









Sports Hero Day and Cross Country Reminder

Not Perfect Hat Day Tomorrow

Just a reminder that tomorrow (Wednesday 18th March) is our Not Perfect Hat Day.

Wear a funny, crazy, silly or normal hat tomorrow to raise funds for the shipment of toys made by Year Two for children in Uganda.

Tech Friday

On Friday we were visited by two internationally renowned teachers, Kim Vernon and Craig Kemp. These two Singapore based educators demonstrated how technology could be used to improve student learning in the classroom. The students had the opportunity to explore apps where they became engineers and game designers as well as storytellers and planners.

Exploring our PBL unit

Here is a taste of what both 1E and 1P having been working on together in our PBL unit. We are exploring both living things and the need for shelter as we answer the question "How can insects and children play and live in the same environment?"
