We had to use the 'Counting On' strategy

 to solve them. 

It was a lot of fun!

Dear Year 1 Parents,

This is just a reminder that this week (Week 4), we are doing the Week 3 list words for spelling homework, due to the mix up last week.

Please note that Mathletics tasks will not be set this week due to the Water Investigation homework which your child has brought home today. Your child is most welcome to go onto Mathletics and do activities of their own choosing.

Our Assembly Item

Today we presented the Memory Verse in the K-6 Assembly. It was lots of fun!

This week is our first K-6 Assembly for the term. 
Year One will be presenting the memory verse.
Parents are welcome to attend.

Spelling Homework Changes

Dear Year 1 Parents,

Hopefully your child was able to convey the changes to this week’s spelling. If not…

Unfortunately an error was made this week in the Spelling Pre-test. The students were tested on Week 4 words instead of Week 3. Please see Week 4 words in the Spelling Booklet for this week’s spelling list. Next week we will do Week 3 words.

Speaking and Listening topic is as written for Week 3 in the Homework booklet.

Mathletics has been set as usual.
